Diablo 3 Season 35 starts tonight, and it promises to be a fun one

Diablo 3 Season 34 wrapped up last week (after a confusing, complicated rundown), and now it’s time for Season 35. The new season theme is the Season of Eternal Conflict, bringing a fresh round of Pandemonium to the game. The Pandemonium buff is all about racking up kills: the more demons fall by your hand, the more stacks of Pandemonium you get, and the bigger the buffs.

Season 35 launches on June 6, 2025 at 5 p.m. PDT/CEST/KST!

As you play this season, you’ll earn Pandemonium buffs based on your current kill streak. Here are the effects:

  • 15 Kills: Exploding Chickens seek and destroy
  • 30 Kills: A wide Frost Nova freezes enemies
  • 50 Kills: Corpses rain from the sky
  • 100 Kills: Five massive Energy Twisters are unleashed
  • 150 Kills: Dark Geysers form beneath enemies
  • 200 Kills: Treasure chests fall from the sky
  • 300 Kills: A ring of fire engulfs everything
  • 400 Kills: Meteors hail from above
  • 500 Kills: Angels descend upon the battlefield to fight for your cause
  • 1000 Kills: ?????

This was a really fun one when it first ran in Season 19 (2021), really pushing fast and furious gameplay with a variety of powerful — and sometimes downright weird — buffs.

And the season should stick around for a while: though Blizzard doesn’t announce end dates so early in the seasonal cycle, we expect Season 35 will last through September.
