Two Point Hospital is a fairly straightforward management sim game, and it’s this week’s freebie from the Epic Games Store.

If you enjoy the management sim genre, you’ll also enjoy Two Point Hospital. It’s a little funny how each management sim has its own operational quirks, but at the end of the day it’s still a business. The ride maintenance of Roller Coaster Tycoon is near interchangeable with maintaining your Two Point Hospital MRIs. Making sure people have access to bathrooms and trash cans is universal, as is hiring support staff for a variety of jobs. Running promotions and deals in Planet Zoo is very similar to media and PR management in Two Point Hospital. But, just because the features feel similar doesn’t make it any less fun for the people who enjoy management sims — like, for instance, Two Point Museum or Two Point Campus, other titles by the same developer. This is a pretty classic entry into the genre, and worth the pickup.
