The Queue: 3Spoopy5Me

It’s Friday the 13th, and I’m scared. Hold me, Queue!

CORY

1) Q4RedQueue:
“Cory, I read your list of specs you’d remove and I just punched a baby duckling in disgust”

What have you got against ducks? And lets see your list of removed specs! You know I’m right

2) Q4Red: how do you feel about wildly different franchise crossovers like Street Fighter in Overwatch?

Is it better when it’s same company cross overs like the upcoming Diablo event in Warcraft?

1) Look, Cory: The baby ducklings know what they did.*

My list of removed specs would be:

– …

THAT’S RIGHT, I WOULDN’T REMOVE ANYTHING.

*this is a joke, I have absolutely nothing against baby ducklings and only mentioned them for dramatic effect.

2) As long as the crossover itself is well-done, anything goes. It was fun to see Mai Shiranui in Fall Guys.

KALCHEUS

1) Q4tQ in honor of Friday the 13th, what’s your favorite horror movie?

2) Q4tQ Are you going to pick up the Hatsune Miku DLC for Rift of the Necrodancer?

1) I don’t usually enjoy horror movies, because I hate jumpscares. Hate hate hate them. So that removes about 95% of horror movies from the equation.

That said, there’s the rare horror movie that relies on atmosphere and psychological terror instead of gore or jumpscares, and those can be good. My favorite of all time is easily Ringu (the original Japanese movie that inspired The Ring).

2) “Outlook not so good.”

For me to pick up DLC for rhythm games, I need to be invested in the music I’m getting, preferably — and I’m just not big on Hatsune Miku.

Besides, maybe I’m all out-Rift’d. Haven’t played the game in quite a while now; after beating most everything it had to offer on the Normal difficulty, I was left with no choice but to play the harder difficulties — which are *pretty hard.*

LIZ HARPER

What was your favorite preview at Summer Game Fest?

The super pretty-looking platformer MIO: Memories in Orbit and the “what if BioShock but time travel” Clockwork Revolution.

Q4tq — what deleted alts would you bring back to life

I’ve settled on having one character of every DPS spec in the game as my roster, and that plan has been working out fine for me.

However, I did delete my dedicated Augmentation Evoker a couple months ago.

That happened because due to how Augmentation was gutted changed this expansion, it barely functions as a “real” DPS spec when it comes to leveling and soloing. I was struggling a lot, and simply not having fun. So I decided it was better to simply treat it as a “support spec” and if I ever feel like playing it, I’ll off-spec on my Devastation Evoker instead.

So if Blizzard ever decided to make significant changes to Augmentation that allowed it to properly operate as a DPS spec even on solo situations, I’d most certainly undelete that alt.

ARTHONOS

Q4tQ: What are the odds you end up decorating your house in WoW like your actual living space? I’m looking forward to a space overwhelmed by house plants.

Slim to none! I need to better decorate my actual living space first. But even if it was super decorated, I’m not usually very fond of trying to reflect real life into the games I play, whether it’s making avatars that are based on me or anything else.

ANNA BELL

1) Lizards or Turtles???

2) q4tq now that they announced Persona 4 reloaded what remaster would you like to see next?

1) I like turtles.

Alright!

2) Besides Persona 4, the other big one I had been waiting for was Final Fantasy Tactics, which also got announced very recently. After those two, my dream is to see Super Metroid remade with improved graphics and remixed music, as well as modernized controls, more akin to Metroid Dread.

MITCH

Q4TRed (in reference to Silent Hill f):

If you could pick the next letter to be used as a Silent Hill game’s title, which would you pick? Would it be capitalized or no? Why?

Probably I, capitalized, to confuse people.

ECHOCHASER FARADAI

What if Red is just a littlestitious?

I’m not superstitious nor substitious nor any other kind of stitious, but it’s good to be a littlestitious sometimes. It’s a scary spoopy day, and I don’t believe in witches, but they exist!!!

This has been The Queue, The Queue. Be good to each other, hug a friend who’s scared, and take care!
