What are you most excited about in the upcoming Ghosts of K’aresh content?

Yesterday’s big news came in the form of a bonafide void-tinged cornucopia, as we learned that the next major content patch of The War Within will be the Ghosts of K’aresh update in patch 11.2. We now have details on the zone of K’aresh itself, an additional instance of every flavor, unique new features, and so much more.
The thing everyone is talking about so far is the long-awaited Ethereal raid, Manaforge Omega, and its ridiculously enormous final boss, Dimensius. That’s right, we’ll be facing off against the All-Devouring Void Lord himself to wrap up The War Within. While it might not surprise you to learn that Dimensius is physically large, you may not have expected him to be the size of an actual in-game city. We’ve seen comparisons of this big purple foe towering over Stormwind and Dalaran, and many players are very excited to see just how a few dozen heroes of Azeroth can go toe-to-toe with a mile-high violet horror.
I am intrigued by the new Delve, The Archival Assault, which takes us back to Dragonflight’s Azure Span. I find that callbacks to recent locations make the world feel more alive, as opposed to continents from past expansions being stuck in the state that we experienced them in. We’ll also find an old nemesis at the end of the Delve in Nexus Princess Ky’veza, who escaped after our encounter in Nerub’ar Palace. Any time that an at-large villain returns and we get a second chance to vanquish them counts as noteworthy in my book.
The feature that I’m most excited about is Ecological Succession, a system that involves us attempting to assist our old ally Ve’nari in bringing splashes of life back to the ravaged Ethereal home world. Details are scarce, but it sounds like we’ll be retracing our steps across Azeroth in order to identify and capture fauna that might thrive in the eco-domes of K’aresh. This could be a relatively minor quest hub, but my hopes are high for an all-out animal scavenger hunt spanning every continent and parallel dimension that we’ve visited in twenty years of WoW.
So which thing on the long list of announcements piqued your interest the most? Was it something from the category that you usually look forward to the most, or did something different catch your eye and make you count the days until Ghosts of K’aresh is live?
