Zap your way through Overcharged Delves, now live in The War Within patch 11.1.7
Patch 11.1.7 of World of Warcraft is now live, which means it’s time to put on your insulated safety gloves and dive into some Overcharged Delves. These electrified instances come complete with additional enemies and traps, a skill tree, an extremely powerful piece of gear that will the the height of fashion this season in Dornogal, and, of course, cosmetic rewards that make it all worthwhile.
Upon heading to the Delver’s Pavilion in Dornogal, you’ll find Dagran Thaurissan III eager to enlist you to help explore these newly juiced-Delves. You can pick up the quest Titan Consoles from him there, or just head to an Overcharged Delve and it will pop up automatically. Each day, two of the four Bountiful Delves will show crackling static around their marker on the world map, but only the following six Delves will ever get the Overcharged affix:
- Kriegval’s Rest
- Fungal Folly
- Skittering Breach
- The Spiral Weave
- Nightfall Sanctum
- Sidestreet Sluice
Inside an Overcharged Delve, you will find additional groups of enemies such as constructs, Refti, and energy matrices. There are also electrified ground traps that will stun you if you’re not careful, so be sure to clear these before big pulls or boss fights. Your motivation for running these charged-up Delves is to collect Titan Discs, which can be assembled from shards you’ll find on mobs and in treasures including Mislaid Curiosities.
The first quest requires 50 Titan Disc Shards, which should be easy to collect in a single Overcharged Delve of any difficulty tier. On completing that, you’ll get a gift of another 50 from Dagran that allows you to reassemble your first Titan Disc from 100 shards. You can interact with the Titan consoles that Dagran has placed at the entrance and checkpoint of each Overcharged Delve to open up the talent tree, where you can plug in discs for account-wide powers such as shields, auto-triggered Titantic Pyroblasts, and (hooray!) speed-increases.

While the ‘Bountiful’ affix is removed upon completing a Delve, the ‘Overcharged’ affix remains. This means that you can farm Titan Disc Shards to your heart’s content, swap them around your Warband, and complete all levels of the Overcharged Titan Console without any timegating or waiting for resets.
The super-powered item from 11.1.7, the Durable Information Securing Container, requires a second foray into an Overcharged Delve. Dagran will reward you with the belt, which starts at item level 691. You can complete weekly quests to upgrade that number to 701, making the D.I.S.C. a must-have for basically all of your characters. In addition to a high item level and gem socket, the belt will also come with a few special abilities and the ability to unlock several more — check out our article for more details.
Finally, the rewards for becoming a master of Delves that zap you back are two decently awesome cosmetics. Clearing any four of the six possible Overcharged Delves will earn you the Overcharged Delver achievement and a Redeployment Module toy. This Titan transporter might just be my favorite hearthstone effect so far. Completing the entire Overcharged Titan Console talent tree will require 17 discs (that’s farming 1,700 shards) and award Titan Console Overcharged as well as the OC 91 Chariot. It shares the same model as the Diamond Mechsuit reward from The War Within’s Season 1 Keystone Master, but adds some gears on the shoulders and zappy flair to an overall Titan-inspired reskin.
