Today’s two hour Tuesday maintenance for WoW

This week we have a perfectly mid-sized maintenance for World of Warcraft with two hours of downtime for both modern and classic. It’s more than a normal maintenance, but less than what I’d call a long maintenance; instead it’s a nice in between. The goldilocks of maintenances.

I kid, but today’s maintenance shouldn’t be (knock on wood) too bad. Here’s the maintenance schedule for Tuesday, June 24:

• The War Within: Offline from 7am – 9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)
• Cataclysm Classic: Offline from 7am – 9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)
• WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, Anniversary, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am –  9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)

I initially thought this extra maintenance might be needed to address some patch 11.1.7 problem, but because it’s also hitting Classic realms it can’t be patch specific. As usual, Blizzard has made no comment about today’s longer than usual maintenance window.

The servers came back online today without issue. Happy gaming, everyone!
