Tuesday maintenance is over! WoW Classic, TWW, and Mists are all back online

Tuesday is coming for us with another long World of Warcraft maintenance (for some players). This week Mists of Pandaria Classic has a full eight hours of maintenance scheduled, while The War Within and WoW Classic both have two hours of maintenance scheduled. It’s another odd week, with significant downtime for Mists even though nothing special is rolling out this week — WoW Classic had similar treatment last week, but came up quite early so perhaps this maintenance won’t last as long either. We can hope, can’t we?

Unfortunately we’ve already had an extension today as The War Within maintenance has been extended another hour.

Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, October 28:

• The War Within: Offline from 7am – 9am 10am pacific (10am – 12pm 1pm eastern)
• Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 3pm pacific (10am – 6pm eastern)
• WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, Anniversary, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am –  9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)

All WoW servers are currently back online

So what’s happening with these lengthy maintenance weeks? I wish I could tell you. Blizzard hasn’t commented on last week’s scheduled eight-hour maintenance (which only lasted around four) for WoW Classic, and similarly hasn’t said anything about this week’s scheduled eight-hour maintenance for Mists of Pandaria Classic. And last week the longest maintenance was actually for The War Within, which was scheduled for four hours but was offline for eight. Ouch.

Fortunately today wasn’t so bad. We had a little extra TWW maintenance, but Mists of Pandaria was back online earlier than scheduled so it wasn’t too long of a maintenance all around.
