Business is blooming at the WoW Trading Post in April

World of Warcraft‘s Trading Post is rolling out new spring-themed items for the month of April, though there is a smaller selection compared to the last few months. Not every month can be the Trading Posts birthday or be the launch of a WoW expansion though, so it’s back to reality  for the fashion community for the time being. Some of the new items this month are pretty distinct (in a good way) and are worth checking out but before you do check the inventory of your nearest Trading Post, however, be sure to grab your Trader’s Tender out of the chest.

Here’s what you can get at the Trading Post in April!

April Trading Post mounts

Gracing the Trading Post shelves in April are two brand new mounts and two returning mounts. The new mounts are the Vicious Snapvine for 600 Trader’s Tender and the Arboreal Psuedoshell for 450 Trader’s Tender and both sport unique, vine-like designs though the Snapvine appears to be a flying mount and the Pseudoshell is ground-only. Returning from last May’s Trading Post is the Spring Harvesthog for 550 Trader’s Tender while the Emerald Snail returns from last April’s Trading Post for 325 Trader’s Tender.

April Trading Post transmog and items

April’s Trading Post transmogs are Ensemble heavy this month, headlined by two Villager’s Forest and Forest Dweller’s sets each. These sets are different colored variants of the original gnome heritage armor last April’s Trading Post, officially giving gnomes the most heritage armor styles as reparations for their cruel and unusual treatment at the hands of the devs.

Unfortunately, there are less weapons options than usual this month and the only real novelty for the armor options are just filling out your color wheel for whatever common looking items you have that you never wear. It appears the Chainkini is taking the monthly fodder throwaway item spot previously held by the War Wraps and Slippers combo from the past few years, so we’ll see how long until the novelty wears off.

April Trading Post pet

April’s pet is the Grumpy Mandrake on sale for 250 Trader’s Tender. This budding little monstrosity is a more unique pet than we usually get, especially for the Trading Post, and while it’s ugly as sin, one must as admit it is a face only someone with a hoarding problem could love.

April Trading Post bonus reward

The Ensemble: Forest Dweller’s Butterfly Attire is the Traveler’s Log bonus reward this month and is another re-colored variant of the Ensemble: Forest Dweller’s set, with this one sporting light orange-yellow shoulders and purple-pink clothing.
