Season 2 of Overwatch, Summit, begins April 14

This week, season 2 of Overwatch begins, with new Hero Sierra joining the fray, a new battle pass, and tons of smaller additions to discuss.

The Overwatch team made it easy on us by jamming it all into an action-packed trailer.

In addition to Sierra coming to the base game, there are a few more new Heroes coming to Stadium: Ramattra to start, Jetpack Cat at midseason, plus a rework to Juno. There’s also a version of the Lijiang Night Market map that’s being adapted for Stadium.

Old-time Overwatch fans will be glad to know that we’re going to see the Anniversary event again mid-season. Since the next Diablo 4 expansion is coming at the end of the month, it’s no surprise to see a teaser for some kind of skin collab tie-in. There are plenty of other skins showcased in the video as well, from new Mythics you can earn by playing your way through the season, to eye-catching and wallet-destroying shop offerings.

So get ready to climb all the way to the Summit of Overwatch in season 2 starting April 14! Wait, does that mean it’s all downhill from here?
