Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 5 launches June 2 with Siege of Orgrimmar and Timeless Isle

The fifth (and barring any dramatic changes, final) phase of Mists of Pandaria Classic will launch worldwide on June 2, 2026, once the weekly maintenance finishes, which is usually between 8am-9am pacific time. Phase 5, titled The Siege of Orgrimmar after the titular raid, sends Mists of Pandaria Classic off into the sunset with a load of activities for Classic players to enjoy before they (presumably) learn about where World of Warcraft Classic will go later this year.

What’s in Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 5?

• Siege of Orgrimmar raid
• Timeless Isle zone:
  • 5 new world bosses
  • Emperor Shaohao faction
• Legendary questline conclusion

• Proving Grounds
• PVP season 14

New raid: Siege of Orgrimmar, launching on June 4, 2026, at 3pm pacific (6pm eastern). The staple activity of Phase 5 is the notorious Siege of Orgrimmar raid which launches globally on June 4, at 3pm pacific. Siege of Orgrimmar is also an integral part of completing Wrathion’s Legendary Cloak questline and if you’ve been keeping up so far, you can begin the last section of requirements by finding him at the Tavern in the Mists.

New zone: Timeless Isle. Players can venture to the Timeless Isles from their respective faction’s base in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. This zone introduces a few things but specifically worth pointing out are the new world bosses, the Emperor Shaohao faction, and a new currency, Timeless Coins. There are five world bosses in the Celestial Court on the Timeless Isle:

• Chi’ji, The Red Crane
• Yu’lon, The Jade Serpent
• Niuzao, The Black Ox
• Xuen, The White Tiger
• Ordos, Fire-God of the Yaungol

All of the world bosses are available to challenge immediately, except Ordos, who can only be fought if you’ve completed Wrathion’s Legendary questline. Killing the world bosses and the Yaungol mobs across the Timeless Isle are how you earn reputation with the Emperor Shaohao factions and, if you’re lucky, you’ll earn Timeless Coins along the way. These coins can be used to buy a variety of different loot from the Timeless Isle vendors.

Updates to Celestial Dungeons. Celestial Dungeons are getting some new buffs for both players and enemy NPCs:

• Players will be able to gain the Celestial Witness buff which increases their damage and healing capabilities while reducing the damage taken.
• Enemies get the benefit of Glory to the True Horde, which buffs their own health and damage while also benefitting from the Kor’kron Banners placed throughout the dungeon that further empower them.
• Celestial Dungeon bosses will also gain a random power from one of the Siege of Orgrimmar raid bosses.

New Proving Grounds solo challenge. The Proving Grounds is a solo, repeatable mode that lets players test their skills as a DPS, Healer, or Tank with challenges tailored to their chosen spec. Speaking to any class trainer or NPC in the Temple of the White Tiger in Kun-Lai will grant you entry to the Proving Grounds.

New PVP season. Finally, the next PVP season will begin on June 2 and bring new sets and cosmetics for players to earn.
