It’s another long maintenance day for Midnight
This week’s World of Warcraft maintenance is relatively quick for most realms, with just an hour of downtime scheduled for all servers except Midnight. But unfortunately for modern WoW players, Midnight realms will be offline for four hours for the second week in a row. Still, if maintenance goes as scheduled, the servers will be back online well before most of us are done with work for the day.
Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, March 26:
- Midnight: Offline from 7am – 11am pacific (10am – 2pm eastern)
- Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
- WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
- The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
All World of Warcraft servers are currently offline.
There’s not much happening this week, though a fairly significant class balance patch will be going live for Midnight, which Blizzard describes as “tuning adjustments that are primarily targeted at Hero Talents that are unperforming in various types of content.” Many, but not all, classes will be seeing changes for PVP and PVE, and they’re largely positive. It doesn’t explain today’s long maintenance, but it’s certainly happy news for classes getting buffed.
All Classic servers will be back online quickly, with no patches announced. However, Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 5 will launch last week, which may involve some extra maintenance.
But for now, all WoW realms are offline, so we’ll face this maintenance before speculating on the next. I’ll keep you up to date on the status of today’s World of Warcraft maintenance right here, so stay tuned for updates.
Hopefully today’s maintenance will proceed on schedule and I’ll see you in Azeroth soon.
