It’s a perfectly normal Tuesday maintenance — for most of the WoW servers, anyway

Today’s WoW maintenance is is actually extremely short in length for most of the realms, only being an hour long or so. The exception is for The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms, who currently have eight hours of maintenance scheduled for Tuesday. Oof.

Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, July 7:

• Midnight: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms: Offline from 7am – 3pm pacific (10am – 6pm eastern)

All World of Warcraft servers are currently offline.

There’s nothing in particular planned for today’s maintenance. I thought that perhaps with an eight-hour maintenance window, The Burning Crusade Classic was finally going to start Phase 3 — featuring the Black Temple and Mount Hyjal, and all that fun stuff I’m actually somewhat nostalgic for — but it doesn’t seem to be the case (unless Blizzard is stealth-dropping an entire phase). Good time to kick back, maybe check out one of the other realms for a few hours, or perhaps listen to a good podcast — might I suggest the most recent Tavern Watch Plays?
