Happy (short) Tuesday maintenance — all realms back online!

Get ready to zoom through maintenance day, because all World of Warcraft servers only have an hour of downtime scheduled today. Maybe we should celebrate by using this free hour to go outside and briefly experience the sunshine (and then come outside before the sun scorches us). That’s the sort of activity you would be too much for a six hour maintenance, but for a one hour maintenance it’s not unreasonable to go outside and take a walk and expect the servers to be up by the time you’re back.

Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, July 28:

• Midnight: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am 9am pacific (10am – 11am 12pm eastern)
• The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)

All World of Warcraft realms now back online!

Whether you decide to spend a few minutes of this hour outdoors or not, today’s maintenance is a quick one, without any patches planned. (At least none that Blizzard has announced.)

Most realms came back online as scheduled, but the core WoW Classic realms (Classic Era, Season of Discovery, and Hardcore) had maintenance extended for an hour — though they came back online before the hour was out. With Classic realms up, all realms are now back online, so I’ll see you in Azeroth soon.
