The Queue: What if?

Thank you for the idea, Jalamenos.

ENO

Man, GTA 6 releasing… that would end an era of jokes

Man, I feel ancient because my mind went to Duke Nukem Forever.

I can’t imagine GTA6 possibly being close to as bad as that game was.

MUSEDMOOSE

You’d think a ghost possessing a body wouldn’t want to be a target. That just means they’ll have to find a new body sooner.

You’d be amazed at how effective tactical possession can be. Like in Dishonored, when you can jump into a guard’s mind and then make him walk off of a ledge, then release the body so he drops screaming to his death not understanding what happened.

What? Come on, you’ve done worse playing Dishonored. Heck, I got mind controlled into the lava in Blackrock Mountain more times than I could possibly count.

AMBULANCE ROBOTS

Fever has broken. I’m not as stupid anymore, but still sick enough to be a little stupid.

Also, discovered canned roasted eel at the 99 Ranch. It’s real good in ramen.

Are you absolutely sure the fever has actually broken, because the very idea that canned eel is good in ramen seems like something someone in the throes of a fever would say.

JALAMENOS

And an unnecessary Arthas cameo.

Somehow, the Lich King has returned.

I just had a weird moment after eating some canned roasted eel asking myself the question What if, instead of Arthas as the Lich King, we get just plain Arthas?

Hear me out. Wait. This is text. Okay, read me out — there’s an entire dungeon where we go back in time to keep Arthas from being assassinated during the burning of Stratholme. Imagine if the time traveling heroes accidentally let it slip that Arthas is going to go vengeance crazy, have his soul shattered by Frostmourne and end up a Death Knight, and then the Lich King? And Arthas, disbelieving, manages to follow the time travelers through time (maybe he grabs one mid-return) and ends up in modern Azeroth?

So instead of yet another Lich King kerfuffle, we get arrogant, cocky, feeling the pressure Arthas except now he’s also emotionally destroyed seeing the future that awaits him and wildly spiraling between This is all I end up being, a soulless monster and I can stop this, my destiny is my own trying to decide if he should accept his fate or refuse to return and live the events of his life.

Okay, that’s the Queue for today. See y’all next week.
