The Queue: I’m with the Peon

This Peon makes some excellent points, and I would like to subscribe to his newsletter.

While I dodge the overseer’s boot, it’s time for our daily question-and-answer column — The Queue!

XERIANNE THEY JUST USE YOUR MIND AND THEY NEVER GIVE YOU CREDIT IT’S ENOUGH TO DRIVE YOU CRAZY IF YOU LET IT

Q4tQ: What is your favorite Weird Al Song?

I’d have to go with The Saga Begins.

It was why I bought my first Weird Al album, and I was just old enough to get the Star Wars jokes in it. So it has a good place lodged in my heart. I also really like Trapped in the Drive-Through and Albuquerque.

After that, don’t make me choose. The rest can all tie for fourth place.

YOU WOULD THINK THAT I WOULD DESERVE A FAIR PROMOTION WANT TO MOVE AHEAD, BUT DRAYGONIA WON’T SEEM TO LET ME

QftQ: OK Cory, we know that you’re all in on a Heroes of the Storm revival.

If you got to direct a HotS movie, what would it look like?

You know what actually would make for a decent Heroes movie? The new He-Man movie. You’ve got universe-crossing and a cast of distinct, colorful characters who all want to punch each other. It also didn’t play like a big parade of remember this character and this place, like Ready Player One. We could have protagonist Jim Raynor get sucked into the Nexus to help defend it against the Raven King and his rogues’ gallery, led by Deathwing or Diablo. Raynor could have a little moment of building his team from the various universes to best counter things. There’d be heart, action, laughs, and at the end we’d all learn that home is where you make it.

It’s either that or a movie about Orphea trying to come to terms with the evil in her family and doing everything she can to rise above it. She’d use paragons from the various universes that connect with the Nexus to serve as examples and only be a little led astray by Kerrigan or Sylvanas. Kerrigan would eventually do the right thing, but in a bad way, and Orphea would feel very conflicted. The budget would be blown on animating a big spell battle between Orphea, Kel’thuzad, and Azmodan. In the years after the release, the big audience debate will be over whether the Lost Vikings worked as the comic relief or if they should’ve been cut.

Option three would be a TV show where every season was a different map and featured different teams of characters. It would use the American Horror Story anthology model so we’d keep the same actors. It would focus more on the inhabitants of the different maps who are counting on these strangers from across the Nexus to help save the day. There’d be lots of good interpersonal drama between the various Blizzard characters. As well as some romance, and it would certainly leave everyone Hots and Bothered.

THEY LET YOU DREAM JUST TO WATCH ‘EM SHATTER YOU’RE JUST A STEP ON THE FUZZYBUNNY’S LADDER

People have taken to killing Dundun.

People are done with dundun?

Dundun’s done?

Dundun has come undone?

Back in my day, this sort of thing just wasn’t done (to dundun)

Maybe Dundun will haunt us all as a ghost, since they’ve left so much undone.

Dun dun dunnnnnnn.

Today’s Bacardi is ready to leap into action to get you the best gear possible. He’s focused and tracking only the best stuff for you. It’s pretty inspiring, actually; it’s not often he’s got this laser focus on display. I mean, unless there’s a tube of goo being opened, or it’s feeding time, or he’s looking for a good spot to have a nap…
