Patch 12.1 brings new endeavors to our Neighborhoods (and new visitors for the old endeavors)

Six months in most people have seen the initial offerings of endeavor visitors in one of their neighborhoods, and patch 12.1 introduced even more. There are four new endeavor visitor themes, with a forced endeavor of Amani Trolls linked to the patch content for everyone in the first month.

Another change with patch 12.1 is that completing neighborhood favor bars — even the endeavors from patch 12.0 — will trigger permanent changes to your neighborhoods. For some endeavors this includes new visitors who will move to your locale, to trade or just to hang out.

Here is a quick guide to the patch 12.1 endeavors, and the neighborhood changes to expect from the older ones.

Candle Culture endeavor

Strange wax deposits have started to appear in the neighborhood. Who better to find a use than the Kobolds of the Ringing Deeps? Seek their counsel on illumination.

There are 34 available activities, and 16 decor items that can be unlocked. The endeavor portal takes you to Gundargaz, Ringing Deeps.

Decor rewards are sold by Timicky. Rewards are candle and kobold themed.

The reward for completing this endeavor isn’t yet clear.

Every Bakar Has Its Day endeavor

Residents of the neighborhood love their pets, but they could use some help training them. The Maruuk of the Ohn’ahran Plains have very strong bonds with their bakar, and they may be willing to pass on some training tips.

There are 15 available activities, and 23 decor items that can be unlocked. The endeavor portal takes you to Maruuukai, Ohn’ahran Plains, Dragon Isles.

Decor rewards are sold by Roshai Lightstep. Rewards are Maruuk Centaur and bakar themed.

The reward for completing this endeavor isn’t yet clear.

Knock-Off Amani endeavor

Griftah and his traveling troupe of traders are visiting the neighborhood to trade their “traditional Amani goods“. They may not be genuine, but they look good.

There are 27 available activities, and 15 decor items that can be unlocked. The endeavor portal takes you to Tokka’s Landing, The Coiled Isle.

Decor rewards are sold by Griftah. Rewards are Amani Troll themed.

Completing this endeavor unlocks visits from Unquestionably Griftah who sells a couple of super useful items you need for advanced editing of your house — or so their tooltips say.

Vacation Season endeavor

The Tortollans are a worldly folk. So worldly, in fact, that they need no introduction to your neighborhood–they’ve been vacationing here long before you put down your roots! Share in their recreational wisdom.

There are 20 available activities, and 15 decor items that can be unlocked. The endeavor portal takes you to Boralus, Kul Tiras or Dazar’alor, Zandalar depending on your faction.

Decor rewards are sold by Taifa. Rewards are Tortollan themed.

Completing this endeavor unlocks three new decor items in Thoska‘s inventory in your neighborhood’s underwater dive bar.

Patch 12.0 Neighborhood endeavor additions

We have a larger guide to all the patch 12.0 endeavors and their rewards, but patch 12.1 has added a few new perks if your Neighborhood completes these endeavors.

Artistic aid: A blood elf art commune is sheltering in the neighborhood while their home is under attack, and wants to share their artistic prowess with the neighborhood.

• Completing this endeavor will trigger visits from an artist to your neighborhood.

Consortium Consternation: The Consortium are in the neighborhood helping the locals recover items lost in void storage.

• Datamining from the 12.1.5 PTR suggests completing this endeavor will trigger visits from Warpweaver Razeen, a wandering Ethereal Trader.

Friend of the Grummies: Maintaining a home is hard work! Everyone could sure use a little pick-me-up. That’s why we’ve reached out to the grummles of Kun-Lai, who brew a special beverage called kafa that will put some pep back in your step.

• Completing this endeavor unlocks visits from Cousin Shortkaf who sells a stack of cups as a decor item.

Moderate Mechanization: The mechagnomes of Mechagon are here to assist the neighborhood with technological upgrades.

• Completing this endeavor unlocks visits from J-3T 3000 who sells a consumable jetpack you can use inside your house while placing decor.

Reaching Beyond the Possible: The dracthyr have recently rediscovered themselves and chosen their own path in life. Their passion for learning will help inspire neighborhood residents to learn new trade skills.

• Completing this endeavor unlocks visits from a dragon who sometimes is found asleep in the hills above your neighborhood, and at other times wanders around in visage form.

Smell Sensation: The niffen are in the neighborhood to help out with some pollination issues. Together you can make the neighborhoods flora flourish.
