It’s another short maintenance day for World of Warcraft servers

It’s another short and sweet maintenance day for World of Warcraft, with just one hour of downtime scheduled for all realms. That’s two weeks in a row of the standard (sometimes) weekly maintenance. Hopefully maintenance goes as scheduled, and we’ll be back online before you know it.

Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, September 29:

• Midnight: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)

All World of Warcraft realms are currently offline.

There’s nothing planned for this week’s maintenance, with no announced patches or hotfixes. However, we’re likely getting close to the launch of WoW patch 12.1.5, which we predict will launch on October 6. Even if the patch is pushed a little longer than Blizzard’s usual eight-week schedule, we should get a confirmed date soon. But whenever the patch goes live, we can expect a longer than usual maintenance to go with it.

But nothing else is on the schedule for modern or classic realms in the near future; there’s only patch 12.1.5 in October and the launch of WoW: Forever in November. When Forever is live, it will likely join the regular Tuesday maintenance lineup, but at the moment the beta servers don’t stick to a strict schedule, but the last beta patch launched on Thursday.

For now, we’re all waiting for the servers to come back up, and it shouldn’t be long. We’ll keep you up to date on current WoW server status right here, but we don’t expect any extended maintenance considering how quiet it’s been.  The servers should be up soon, so I’ll see you in Azeroth.
