The Queue: Here’s a picture

So yeah, I’ve been trying to write the intro to this Queue and every possible thing that could interfere to stop me has in fact happened. So here’s a picture of my dog because y’all were showing pictures of your pets yesterday, I might as well get in on that.

Here’s Sasquatch while we’re at it. Both of these pictures are very old but they still basically look like this.

I do that often. One time I managed to rip a bag open lengthwise and had to eat much chips from the bag lying on the front, like I was a wolf tearing the jalapeno cheddar innards out of a bag I’d helped drag down.

Nothing, because I’m not currently playing WoW Forever. Not even because I don’t want to or what have you, I just have a lot of stuff to do including playing a game where I use Godzilla to beat up other monsters.

Honestly, I don’t plan much of anything nowadays. I don’t really have a guild anymore (my last guild was full of great folks but I just had a lot of bad medical stuff happen to me and faded out for a long time) and the way the past few years have been going I’ve honestly just sort of found myself playing stuff as I can.

This isn’t some kind of “I’m not going to play it” stand as much as it is just me thinking I’ll get to it when I get to it. It’s named WoW Forever. 

Forever implies it will be there when I am ready.

I am waiting until I’m sated and Godzilla has kicked Mechagodzilla’s big robot butt enough times that I feel able to cope with other people.

I’m pretty vocal about liking the idea behind WoW Forever, of essentially making a What If version of the classic game that deliberately makes different choices and approaches design with an eye towards finding new solutions to the same problems we saw back in the 2004 to 2006 period. But I barely played WoW Classic because there are already three Blizzard games I play regularly — Diablo 3, Diablo 4 and the retail version of WoW. Factor in all the other games I want to play — and yes, the top of that list is the game where I play an enormous atomic monster — and I just don’t see when I’ll really feel able to dig in to WoW Forever.

But I’m absolutely willing to do so if the time ever aligns.
