Breakfast Topic: What’s the longest you’ve played for in one sitting?

So I have a confession to make. Well, maybe this isn’t the right crowd to make it in front of, because you all are probably as um… “special” as me. I’ve sat in front of a computer for 12 hours straight and played a game, only getting up for refreshment and other necessary activities. I’m not proud of it (I lied, sorry, I am), and I couldn’t do it anymore in my old age of 32 (I am 32, right? Took me a second), but it happened when Wrath of the Lich King released.

These days I’m more likely to fire up my gaming laptop and sit in my bedroom chair until 2am and play games on it. It’s rare that I’ll spend more than a couple hours in front of the computer when not working. My gaming habits have become much more casual that way. I’m not saying that as a bad thing, either. It’s just part of the life I live now, owning a site and working another amazing job and all.

But I do pine for the days when I could play a video game for half the day straight, get through most of the leveling in an expansion without batting an eye… the good ol’ days. When I ate ramen and my hardest decision was whether I was going to trash talk mages or warlocks in the next day’s Queue (sorry, lied again, it was an easy decision and was always mages).
