Decide our fate for our upcoming Twitch show

This upcoming Thursday, we’ll be adding a new show to our Twitch streaming lineup. Five members of the Blizzard Watch crew will be leveling 1 to 100 without heirlooms — and if that sounds a bit boring, think of it as an extra, less-structured podcast with five hosts: Anne Stickney, Elizabeth Harper, Matthew Rossi, Fox Van Allen, and myself. Since you’ll be our hopefully-loving audience, we’d like to place some of our leveling decisions in your hands.

In the polls linked below, you’ll be able to vote on our faction and what classes some of us will play. There are some restrictions to keep in mind: Liz Harper will be our healer, Matt Rossi will be our tank, Fox Van Allen is a shadow priest no matter what, and Anne and I have reserved the right to some vetoes. I just plain don’t want to play a druid. I find them terribly boring. Sorry! As for Anne Stickney, she’s leaving it between two choices, monk or hunter, purely because she hasn’t played those before.

We also reserve the right to fudge the results a little bit in the interest of actually leveling together. That means picking a race that supports all of the classes chosen for us so we can start in the same starting zone, and since not every race can be every class, we might have to go with the second most popular choice if it comes down to that. And since we’re leveling 1-100, death knights are a no-go.

Our first show will be this upcoming Thursday at 2 p.m. Central on Twitch.tv. We’ll be streaming the show weekly for anywhere between one and two hours depending on how we feel. If you aren’t able to make it to the livestream, recordings will be available on our nascent Youtube channel afterwards.
