The Queue: Illidan, novels, and Overwatch beta status
Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!
Do you think there is a chance that Illidan, in some twist of fates, could end up being a protagonist in Legion? Would anybody else care to see that?
Illidan has always wobbled between villain and anti-hero. He’s a huge, raging jerk, but was on the right side now and then. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he’s a protagonist in Legion. I would, however, be surprised if he was a protagonist evermore — or didn’t have some selfish motive for helping.
So… anyone going to participate in National Novel Writing Month? I haven’t committed yet, but I’m thinking about it.
I find it very unfortunate NaNoWriMo happens in November, given the first two weeks of the month — at minimum — are consumed by BlizzCon fervor. That makes the NaNo thing just plain impossible. That said, I do the novel writing thing the rest of the year, anyway.
Which NON-EXODAR capital city would work best if transformed into a giant dance studio?
Ironforge. Dim the lights, dump some neon food coloring in that lava, set up a laser light show, and crank up the tunes. Perfect night club.
Undercity could work as a goth and/or raver club, too.
Does D3 support controllers on PC?
Not natively. There are programs you can acquire which will convert controller inputs to mouse/keyboard and vice versa, but Diablo 3 on PC itself does not support controllers. And even if you do rig up that method of using a controller, you wouldn’t get some of the controller benefits consoles have such as the roll buttons.
Hello Blizzard Watchers! I sent you an email to the backers email address two days ago, kept getting “the delivery of this message is delayed” messages and just now a delivery failed response. Hmph! Is there any other way I can reach ye? Thank you :-)
We’ll investigate this. In the meantime, try sending it along again — maybe it was only a temporary hiccup?
Ok, so pretend you go to a new café for lunch, but when you get there, there is no menu. Instead you just get an odd looking stick. The waiter explains that you simply scan your tongue with the stick and they will make the perfect sandwich for you. What is on your sandwich?
I walk out of the restaurant muttering about new age hipster crap and find a restaurant with a menu that lets me make my own decisions.
So did you get into the Overwatch Beta yet?
Nope.
