The latest on Legion’s launch date, from Activision-Blizzard’s investor call

While we’ve know the pre-order says Legion will be released on or before September 21, 2016 (which is technically summer), we now have a little narrower window, according to today’s investor call:

[Legion is] expected to launch in the summer window, following June release of the Warcraft film by Legendary Pictures.

This information is coming from the investor slides, which are available online for all to see. Additionally, Morhaime said on the call Legion will launch “on the heels” of the movie.

Personally, and this is just me and not speaking for the site, I wouldn’t at all be surprised to see it be released right after the movie.
