The Queue: When June bugs attack

I’m writing this Queue as an army of June bugs desperately try to crawl in my windows. Forgive me if I’m a little terse today — or if I break down into panicked text-based screaming.

GRORTRAUGH ASKED:

I’m slowly leveling up my Horde Shadow Priest in preparation for Legion, and was wondering if you all had any recommendations for shadow priests in general. Are there any quest hubs or zones that deal with their unique lore? Or do shadow priests have good older class quests, like the Warlock green fire chain?

In Legion, Shadow Priests use an Old God theme. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of any questing content in Legion which directly deals with the Old Gods. There might be mentions here and there, but the Burning Legion is the focus. Most of your class-related content is going to come from your class halls and the class hall campaign therein.

OK, glyphs are gone from the tab on the Beta. Are the recipes gone from a scribe’s Inscription menu?

The vast majority of glyphs are gone, yes. Major glyphs are completely gone. Any glyphs which did anything other than change a spell’s appearance/cosmetics are gone. Glyphs don’t do anything but change a spell’s appearance anymore and are applied directly to the spell.

I heard that Brawlers’ Guild was “going away” in Legion. Is that true?

It is going away, but it seems to be temporary. Back in April, the @WarcraftDevs Twitter account stated:

The Brawler’s Guilds are going on hiatus. They said something about “preparing for the next big thing”. https://t.co/kJ6voYH17W

The tweet implies either the Brawler’s Guild will return after it’s been tuned for Legion, or it will be replaced with a similar feature. It’s also possible they’ll find a way to incorporate it into the sewers of Dalaran rather than where it is now.

Do blood elf priests still Worship Elune? If so,do they have their own high priest or do they look to Tyrande as faiths leader?

I believe High Elves/Blood Elves converted to worship of the Light rather than Elune. That’s where things kicked off in Burning Crusade. After the Scourge sacked Silvermoon, their faith wavered. Rather than worshiping, they sought control, hence enslaving a Naaru and slurping the Light out of it. After the events in Sunwell Plateau, their faith in the Light has been renewed. Lady Liadrin appears to be their faith’s leader since then.
