Heroes of the Storm anniversary event is live

The Heroes of the Storm anniversary event went live yesterday, but now it’s the weekend, which means it’s time to take advantage. From now through June 14, you’ll receive 50% bonus XP. It’s a great time to level characters you haven’t played very much — the 500 free gold at level 5 is pretty sweet and easily attainable. At the very least, you should make sure you take the heroes on this week’s free rotation to level 5.

In addition to the bonus XP, this event introduces a new bundle, which includes The Butcher, Kerrigan, Artanis, Arthas, Uther, Lt. Morales, Xul, and Sgt. Hammer. The bundle also includes the Tyrael’s Charger mount and a 7-Day Stimpack — supercharging your XP bonus even further.
