Tackling the Mythic+ Necrotic Affix will be easier with latest WoW hotfixes

The latest round of WoW hotfixes are here with a change to the Necrotic Affix for Mythic+ dungeons. If you haven’t run this one yet, melee attacks apply the Necrotic Rot debuff which deals damage and reduces healing — and stacks up to 99 times. (But if you hit 33, you’re probably toast because you won’t get any healing.) Ouch.

With this hotfix, the debuff will expire when you leave combat, which should make it easier to escape and hit those Mythic timers without waiting for the 10 second debuff to fall off. The timing of this hotfix is pretty unfortunate, because Necrotic was last reset’s Affix — but at least it will be easier next time around.

Check out the full hotfix notes below, which also include some PVP changes and a fix to Grimrail Depot… the latter of which we can’t imagine most of you care about, but there it is.
