Heroes of the Storm unveils Nexus Challenge 2.0

With the launch of Heroes 2.0, Heroes of the Storm has also kicked off the Nexus Challenge 2.0, a series of in-game quests spread over 4 weeks. Each week, players will have a new objective yielding a new reward. Much like the previous Nexus Challenge event, this is a tie-in event with Overwatch, yielding rewards both for Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm.

Whether you’re an Overwatch fan or a Heroes of the Storm diehard, there’s goodies in here for all. Keep in mind, unlike previous Heroes of the Storm events, quests beyond week 1 cannot be completed in Versus AI. This event is definitely pushing new players to try structured gameplay this time around. Last time, Overwatch players rushed through the Nexus Challenge entirely through Versus AI on the lowest possibility difficulty, never really seeing what Heroes of the Storm had to offer. It’s unfortunate, but understandable, that Heroes would actually want people to see more of the game this time around.
