How to get the Reinhardt Raynor skin in Overwatch
Blizzard has done a couple stellar crossover Overwatch skins as digital rewards for attending BlizzCon. I firmly believe that Demon Hunter Sombra is best Sombra. Even though StarCraft isn’t getting much attention these days as a live game, the familiar characters from the series have inspired a few great Overwatch looks, such as the Nova version of Widowmaker and Orisa reimagined as a Protoss Immortal.
This year, BlizzConline is offering a StarCraft skin for Reinhardt. The unlock puts the German crusader in the heavy-duty armor of Jim Raynor. It’s a really snazzy skin for you tank players. It has Raynor’s signature bubble helmet and even the facial features look more like the terran than like Reinhardt’s usual beard and scarred eye. Plus it’s called Raynhardt and the world could always use more silly wordplay.
How to get the legendary Raynhardt skin
This is an unusual skin that you won’t earn in-game. It’s available in two tiers of the Celebration Collection, a bundle of digital goodies currently available for purchase. Both the Heroic Pack for $39.99 or the Epic Pack for $59.99 will unlock this new Legendary look for Reinhardt. Head to the shop to buy the collection of your choice, or check out a full breakdown of what each of the bundles contain before you choose whether to go Heroic or Epic.
All the in-game rewards from these Celebration Collection purchases will be linked to your Blizzard account. Keep in mind that if you want the skin on console, you’ll need to double-check that your Blizzard account is linked with your account on PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo in order to get the new threads.
And remember, if you want to see the skin in action before you buy it, you can. The Overwatch items are expected to appear in-game no later than February 18 and all three tiers of the Celebration Collection are available for purchase through September 15.
