September brings a treasure trove of nautical rewards to the WoW Trading Post

X doesn’t mark the spot for all of the September items coming to World of Warcraft‘s Trading Post but T&W does for the Alliance in Stormwind, while the Horde can look for the Zen’shiri. Summer is ending and so too are the extra rewards at the Trading Post but starting this month players will be able to buy set items for certain classes, with different classes becoming available each month.

September happens to contain the unofficial (not quite holi-)day, Talk Like a Pirate Day, and to seemingly commemorate it most of the items this month are pirate related. They won’t cost you a buck or an ear, but they will cost Trader’s Tenders so make sure to get your monthly reward before browsing. Let’s take a look at what plunder is available to players this month!

September Trading Post class sets

It might be slightly misleading to call these “sets”, since each class is only getting 3 cosmetic pieces of armor for their heads, shoulders, and waists. Even though the armor cosmetics are a few pieces short of a full set, they are at least paired with an armament cosmetic pack with 3 weapon types for each class.

These pieces are expensive so if you want to get one of these sets but find yourself low on Trader’s Tenders, make sure you use the holdover feature for the set or item you really want.

September Trading Post ensembles, transmogs, and cosmetics

It seemed only one Ensemble this month is in on the pirate bit, but the Sunny sets are at least a nice Fall color.

Most of the transmogs and cosmetics here have committed to the bit of piracy or other sea-themed items like the Bicorne hats and the return of one of the early Trading Post items, the Trust Treasure Trove. We also have two newer items, a pair of Tauren totems, available as back pieces.

September Trading Post pet

The pet available for the month of  September is Slyvy, a celestial wyvern, for 650 Trader’s Tender. This little constellation seems to deviate a bit from the rest of the pirate themed items this month but sailors did use the stars to help them navigate their way at night, so it’s not too far off.

September Trading Post bonus reward

The bonus reward for completing the Traveler’s Log objectives is the Crusty Crawler’s mount, letting you sidestep your way around Azeroth, leaving people in awe of this giant crustacean.

This month’s Travelers Log will feature some of the upcoming 10.1.7 activities and completing them counts towards completion so if you want to earn the bonus mount. Next month we’ll see another rotation of class armor sets for the Death Knights, Demon Hunters, and Druids, and then another 3 classes in November. Take a look and see if any of the classes catch your eye so you can be stocked up on Trader’s Tenders when they finally arrive!
