How to use the new Party Finder tool in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred

Since Diablo 4 launched, players have been asking for some sort of group finder or lobby feature that they could use to form groups with. The good news is that it’s finally coming: the Vessel of Hatred expansion features a Party Finder tool that will allow players to list new parties or join existing parties to tackle any kind of content they want.

What is the Party Finder tool in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred?

This tool allows players to find other players to run any kind of content in the game. When creating a party listing with this tool, they will be able to set what game type or activity they want to run, and customize it with a manual text description as well as helpful predefined description tags such as Competitive, Completionist, Voice Chat Preferred, and Farming, among others.

This feature will be available for the base game as well, so it’ll be usable even if you don’t purchase the expansion.

How can I access the Party Finder tool in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred?

The Party Finder feature can be accessed from the Social menu, which can be found at the bar on the top of your map, or by pressing a hotkey to open it directly (the default keybind is “O”). Just like with other menu options, you also have the ability to add the Party Finder to your emote wheel for quick access.

Within the tool, you’ll have the options to either find an existing party (the “Find a Party” button) or creating your own (the “List Party” button).

What kind of content is the Party Finder tool in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred used for?

There’s a menu in the tool which lists the types of content available for use with this tool. Players can choose pretty much any type of content currently available in the game, such as boss runs, dungeons, the new Dark Citadel Co-Op raid, open world leveling, or a catch-all “Any” option. As mentioned above, the description text and tags will allow players to further refine what their group is for.

Once an appropriate party is found, it’s simply a matter of clicking the Join Party button (or accepting applicants to the party you created), and you’ll be in a group with other players to demolish demons in whatever content (and in whichever way) you choose.
