Today is a completely normal World of Warcraft maintenance day — servers back online!

In an unusual turn of events, today’s World of Warcraft maintenance is scheduled to be its typical one-hour downtime. The WoW servers are scheduled to be offline from 7am to 8am pacific for The War Within, Classic, and Cataclysm Classic — and the servers have come online a bit early, so we’re already back in the game.

With so many long maintenances lately, it’s a refreshing surprise to see the servers scheduled to come online after just an hour. I look forward to checking the weekly vault soon — but I’ll keep you appraised of any updates and let you know if maintenance is extended. In the meanwhile, let’s take this little break as a pleasant moment of rest before diving back in to confront the overwhelming army of spiders that awaits us in Azj-kahet.
