With patch 11.0.5 you’ll be able to fill crafting orders using your Warbank

In a significant quality of life upgrade for crafters, when WoW patch 11.0.5 hits live servers later this month you will be able to fulfill crafting orders using reagents from your Warband Bank. In addition to a two-month-long 20th anniversary celebration and new Dracthyr classes, players will no longer need to traipse back and forth between their crafting table and the bank or Auction House when filling orders and boosting their profession knowledge.
Sure, you can technically already open up a portal directly to your Warband Bank right from your crafting station. The first time I tried that, I placed it squarely in the center of the Alchemy Table which rendered it infuriatingly hard to click. I think I rage-quit my crafting professions for about a week after that episode.
Being able to simply use reagents from your Warband Bank without the extra step will be appreciated most by players like me who have limited play time, an army of alts funneling resources into their Warbank, and limited tolerance for tedious shuffling of materials. Whether the lack of a connection between the Warbank and crafting orders at the launch of The War Within was intentional or not, enabling the link is another step along the path of making players feel like their Warband is truly a cohesive team of adventurers.
This update goes live on October 22nd. If you haven’t been regularly filling crafting orders, it will be a great chance to pick up the weekly quest for some bonus profession knowledge. One improvement this expansion that has been critical for, again, casual players like me is the addition of patron crafting orders. Instead of needing to wait for other players to post orders, there is now a tab where a handful of orders placed by NPCs can be filled at any time.
So will this change have a huge impact on how you spend your time in Dornogal each week? The main problem I’m anticipating now is my Warbank running out of resources.
