A checklist of achievement rewards and vendor loot to acquire during the WoW 20th anniversary celebration

World of Warcraft is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a special event that’s now live and will last until January 6, 2025. This year’s anniversary event goes above and beyond the usual anniversary celebration by featuring a myriad of activities for you to complete, including the introduction of vanilla dungeons to Timewalking as well as new and reprised gear for you to earn, notably the iconic Tier 2 sets

There’s a lot of loot for you to earn from different sources but the most sought after items can be purchased from vendors outside the Caverns of Time or earned through achievements. We’ve compiled a checklist of these items, their prices, and where/how to get them to guide you through the 20th anniversary event!

Rewards for completing 20th anniversary achievements

The blue phoenix mount, Reins of the Cold Tempest, is one of the hallmark rewards for WoW’s 20th anniversary event and tied to the meta-achievement, A Cool Twenty Years, which requires the completion of the following achievements to earn:

  • I Have That One!
  • Fashion Critic
  • Pet Mischief
  • Balloonist
  • Peanut Gallery
  • An Original
  • A Gatecrasher
  • Codex Editor: Ahn’Qiraj

Guest Relations is one of the new activities that we don’t know much about but has two new hats (that we know of) you can earn by completing these respective achievements:

Bronze Celebration Token vendor loot

The following vendors sell certain categories of gear in exchange for the Bronze Celebrations Tokens that you can earn throughout this event. All of the vendors can be found outside the Caverns of Time in Tanaris.

Tier 2 transmogs

If you want to get your reprised version of the Tier 2 set then find Traeya, who handles these classic Ensembles. They are very expensive at first: buy costs 60 Bronze Celebration Tokens, but the price then goes down after that. Your second set costs 40 tokens, and your third set costs 20 tokens, which then becomes the baseline price for each remaining set.

Blizzard Service transmogs

Historian Ma’di will offer transmog items inspired by various awards Blizzard employees earn throughout their career with the company. Ma’di will also exchange Timewarped Badges for Bronze Celebrations Tokens.

Mounts and pets

If you’re looking to boost your mount collection or add to your legion of pets then seek out Storekeeper Reginald.

Timewarped Badges Vendor loot

Renewed Classic and anniversary items

Bobadormu is the vendor who sells most of the new versions of Classic items and gear during the anniversary event, accepting Timewarped Badges as their currency of choice. Bobadormu also sells random consumables like the Noggenfogger elixirs, different commendations to boost other faction reputations, and items to help upgrade your heirloom gear.

Classic PVP vendor loot

If you want the new versions of Classic PVP gear but don’t want to do PVP, well, too bad because you need Marks of Honor and Timewarped Badges to buy them. Each side gets their own Time-Displaced vendor for the 20th anniversary event: Thanthaldis Snowgleam, Stormpike Supply Officer for the Alliance and Jorek Ironside, Frostwolf Supply Officer for the Horde. Each vendor rewards a faction-exclusive mount for completing the Korrak’s Revenge quest and faction-exclusive items but there are also items available across both factions for a relatively cheap price.

Titles

While not exactly “loot” of the weapon or armor variety, Notary Grably sells 15 titles celebrating the 20th anniversary event for 100 Timewarped Badges each.
