Blizzard announces Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct, but the details are a little lacking
Blizzard is celebrating 30 years of Warcraft with announcements… probably. Blizzard will be streaming Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct on November 13 at 10am pacific, though we don’t know much about what Blizzard intends to show off.
But Warcraft news is a good guess. Blizzard specifically says the event will include something for fans of Hearthstone, Warcraft Rumble, World of Warcraft, and even Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. Does this mean a BlizzCon-like news bonanza for all (or some) of these games, or just a celebration of the universe and its fans? It’s tough to set expectations for a middle-of-a-weekday event with no listed duration or schedule. Blizzard only says that we “won’t want to miss a moment — or a single surprise.”
After the event there will be a concert celebrating Warcraft music performed by the 21st Century Orchestra and three choirs, making for an ensemble of 190 performers. As a fan of Warcraft music, I expect it will be a great show.
Watching will also unlock as-of-yet-unspecified rewards for Hearthstone, Warcraft Rumble, and World of Warcraft. As I’ve mentioned, the announcement is somewhat lacking in detail.
You’ll be able to stream Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct on November 13 at 10am pacific on any of these channels:
For now, the event remains shrouded in mystery, but I’ll update you on the event as soon as we know more.
