Support the fight for trans rights and get a ton of new TTRPGs with a new Itch.io bundle

There’s a new bundle up on Itch.io to support a charitable cause, and so once again for a donation as low as five dollars, you can support a great cause and walk away with an absolute landslide of new TTRPGs of all shapes and sizes. This year’s Trans Rights Bundle, TTRPGs for Trans Rights – Ohio, is teaming up with two Ohio charities, TransOhio and Kaleidoscope Youth Center, to help fight transphobia and anti-trans legislature in Ohio, a state that currently has 9 anti-trans bills going through legislation targeting everything from healthcare and bathroom usage to schools and more. Proceeds from this bundle will be split equally between TransOhio — dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights of trans, nonbinary, intersex, and gender-nonconforming people in Ohio — and Kaleidoscope, the largest and longest-standing nonprofit in Ohio dedicated to serving and supporting LGBTQIA+ youth.
The bundle has some big-name partners from off of Itch.io this year, in addition to the usual bevy of what is currently over 450 indie games and supplements. Paizo Inc., the folks behind Pathfinder, are offering PDFs of Pathfinder Lost Omens: The Grand Bazaar to bundle purchasers, featuring a variety of trans and nonbinary shopkeepers and other NPCs suitable for any game you’re playing (not just Pathfinder!). Renegade Game Studios, who produce licensed games like the Transformers and My Little Pony TTRPGs as well as content for World of Darkness and others, are offering a pack of their Season Four Play Renegade Adventures. Lastly, Playground Adventures is offering Pixies on Parade! adventures for D&D, a set of family-friendly adventures suitable for players of all ages.
Did I also mention this bundle has over 450 other RPGs? Here are a few highlights included in the bundle that are definitely worth your time and money.
- Songbirds: An Eldritch Fantasy sets you in a sort of science-fantasy world where spirits can’t pass on to the afterlife properly, but you — a Songbird, chosen (or cursed) by Death, can help them. It’s a game about undeath, supernatural powers, and cool spooky moon stuff, and the worldbuilding inherent in the game itself is phenomenal.
- Apocalypse Frame is a sci-fi mecha RPG based on LUMEN, a system designed to emulate action-packed, fast-moving games — specifically video games — like Destiny, Borderlands, or Overwatch. Combat is fast, characters feel powerful, and the gameplay loop keeps you in the thick of the action — which in this case is piloting a giant mechanical vehicle called a Frame as part of a workers’ collective to fight back against a brutal regime.
- Glitter Hearts is a Powered by the Apocalypse-based magical girl RPG set in a world of every day people who transform into powerful heroes to fight off the forces of evil, balancing your everyday identity and your magical archetype along with your team of friends — and, of course, your team’s cute mascot animal who’s somehow crucial.
- .dungeon//remastered is the second edition of a game that wears the aesthetics of GameFAQs walkthroughs and screenshots on its sleeve, positing a world inside a “dead” MMO. Assign dice to stats, gather multiple classes that you can equip to give yourself bonus, and use your meta-power Aspect to brave the dangers of a dead world. It works on multiple levels — both as the players clinging to an abandoned game, as well as the heroes having adventures inside it, and unlike many others TTRPGs .dungeon has an explicitly-defined ending — something more tabletop games should embrace, in my opinion.
- THE CROWNLESS is a game for, first and foremost, Elden Ring fans. Players play as the titular Crownless, banished individuals who once tried to overthrow the Pretender Gods, brought back from exile by a mysterious force to try to do it right this time. It’s lightweight (one page!), it’s quick to play but you still get to roll a lot of dice, and it’s flavorful — everything I love in one easy package.
- Maybe you don’t want a new game, you just want something for your existing game? Well, there’s plenty of that in here too. Relics Remastered is one of my favorites; this is over 200 pages of tools, toys, and tables for your favorite TTRPG, to be used as-is or for inspiration both before and during the session of whatever it is your playing — and in any genre, too.
If any or all of this sounds interesting to you, or you’re just curious what else is available — and trust me, there’s tons of interesting games I don’t have room to cover — you can have it all and support a fantastic cause by donating a minimum of five US dollars to TTRPGs for Trans Rights – Ohio before 11 PM Eastern on May 2nd, 2025.
