It’s a quick Tuesday morning maintenance for all WoW players, and servers are back online

Today’s WoW maintenance is a short one, with just one hour of downtime for modern and classic WoW servers. Truly a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it maintenance Tuesday.

Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for April 15, 2025:

• The War Within: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• Cataclysm Classic: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, Anniversary, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)

WoW servers are now back online for all game modes. It’s nice to see a speedy maintenance, but don’t get too comfortable because with the launch of WoW patch 11.1.5 next week we can expect some lengthy downtime for modern WoW, though Classic iterations are probably safe for a while longer. Enjoy these short maintenance days while they’re here.

If you need to kill an hour while waiting for the servers to come up, I recommend listening to our latest Tavern Watch podcast, which features the Blizzard Watch team at its absolute weirdest as we all pretend to be birds planning an audacious pretzel heist. Yeah, that’s just a thing we do sometimes apparently. If you want something a little more soothing, I’ll again recommend this Warcraft taverns soundtrack; something about it is just so zen and nostalgic for anyone who’s been playing Warcraft for a few years (or decades). By the time you reach the end of either of these things, maintenance should be over.

Servers came back online smoothly and without issue; truly the perfect maintenance day. I’ll see you in Azeroth, everybody.
