New Warcraft short story follows Faerin Lothar out into the world

In the latest short story published to the World of Warcraft website, Faerin muses on her past and her future amongst the heroes of Azeroth. (That’s us, right?) The story — you can download the PDF here — is a relatively brief 34 pages, and there’s an audiobook version read by Paris Blu, Faerin’s voice actor, available on YouTube.
The story is a prelude to patch 11.1.7, due out next week on June 17. This sets the stage for our return to the Arathi Highlands in the Rise of the Red Dawn story campaign. We’ll be seeing these quests first-hand very soon!
But if you’re looking for more lore, you can check out our guide to Warcraft lore in print, which includes a section on The War Within with several other stories to catch you up on what’s happening out of game. Almost all of this expansion’s stories are available for free, and several have audio versions like this one. If you want to follow the lore, that’s a good place to start.
