GI Joe and Overwatch 2 team up with some really slick new skins

Overwatch 2 just announced the collab they recently teased in their season 17 trailer: G. I. Joe (and Cobra) are coming to a Push map near you. There are five different skins portraying different characters in the Joe universe available for purchase.

And as always with these collabs, even if you aren’t sold on the skins, the trailer can be enjoyed by everyone. And since it’s an Overwatch 2 trailer, it is appropriately epic.

I especially enjoy the gravelly movie trailer voiceover.

You can play as either the Joes, with Genji as Snake Eyes and new hero Freja as Scarlett, or Cobra, with Widowmaker as Baroness, Doomfist as Destro, and of course, Reaper as Cobra Commander. Unfortunately, the odds are not on the side of the Joes. Out of all of the new skins I think the Reaper skin is the slickest, but they’re all somewhat true to the originals, and fun takes on their Overwatch counterparts. Our staffer Cory also enjoyed the Cobra logo emblazoned on Doomfist’s fists.
