The Epic Games Store free game of the week is Legion TD 2

The Epic Games Store is giving away Legion TD 2 this week, a title which many Warcraft RTS fans may find a little familiar.

Legion TD started life as a popular mod for the Warcraft 3 RTS. It didn’t match the popularity of the other game that started as a mod, DOTA, but it was popular enough to start a bit of a trend in its wave-by-wave autobattling style, and this stand-alone sequel. The gameplay does feel a bit retro, but still complex — they just don’t really make tower defense games anymore. And if your friends also pick it up for free, you can even play co-op, which sounds great in theory but may lead to some Monopoly-level ingroup fighting. Well, I guess they didn’t call it an autobattler for nothing?
