We’ve had so many weeks of one-hour WoW maintenance that I’m getting paranoid — but all realms are back online!
I like speedy Tuesday maintenance as much as anybody, but I am starting to get paranoid. This is our third week of a short one-hour maintenance period for all WoW versions, and I feel like it’s a little too good to be true. But paranoid or not, the official maintenance schedule says servers will be down for just an hour this morning.
Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, July 29:
- The War Within: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
- Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
- WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, Anniversary, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
The War Within and WoW Classic servers are back online as scheduled, while Mists of Pandaria Classic realms had a little extra downtime. (It’s been a wild week in Pandaria, so it’s understandable.) All WoW realms are currently back online!
Of course, Blizzard is sure to break this streak soon. Patch 11.2 is rolling out next week, and a major patch always comes with at least a little extra downtime — so enjoy this last quiet week, because next week we’ll be overloaded with new content (and all the downtime that goes with rolling that content out).
With an hour of downtime to wait out, there wasn’t a lot of time to kill, but I should be able to watch a couple more episodes of Delicious in Dungeon (I know, I’m a little behind the times). You could always catch up on the latest K’aresh lore, but the first Whispers from K’aresh video is only two and a half minutes long, so you’d have to put it on repeat for a while.
With all WoW servers back online, hopefully I’ll be seeing you in Azeroth soon!
