The decks you need to win the Dual Class Deckbuilding! Hearthstone Tavern Brawl

It’s been a hot minute since we got a brand-new Tavern Brawl in Hearthstone — and this is a fun one! In the Dual Class Deckbuilding! Tavern Brawl, you’ll — guess what? — build a deck using two classes rather than one. The possibilities are truly endless, and the community has been quick with its theorycrafting, resulting in lots of fun decks.

Are you looking for a guide to December 2025’s Dual Class Brawliseum Tavern Brawl? That’s a similar brawl, but has its own guide!

Let’s not waste any time, because the path to your free pack this week has many possible routes!

Tavern Brawl basics

Name: Dual Class Deckbuilding! Tavern Brawl
Description: Build a deck from 2 classes! Pick your class then pick another class to add cards from!
Fun level: 9/10
Difficulty: 6/10
Replayability: 9/10
Format: Standard
Type: PVP
Rewards: 1 The Lost City of Un’goro card pack

This is a brand-new, never seen before Tavern Brawl. It follows the Standard Rules, and you need to build a deck (or copy one from some place that contains deck lists, such as this article you’re reading at this very moment). The key difference is that your build will contain two classes!

Much like in Dual Class Arena (which we tend to get around the Hallow’s End event), one of the classes will give you your hero power, but both of them will give you cards. The only caveat is that Tourist cards are banned — otherwise, you’d be able to hit cards from more than just two classes.

How to win the Dual Class Deckbuilding! Tavern Brawl

There’s no single winning strategy this week: much like in a Standard Ladder, there are many possible ways to win, whether it’s Aggro, Combo, Control, Tempo, or something else. What you should note, however, is that the ability to combine the strengths of two classes really amps up the power levels: aggro will hit very hard, combos will come out really fast, quests will get completed in a flash.

So pick your preferred style of play and try to find a deck that you can safely pilot, and your win will come naturally. With such high power (and fun!) decks, variance in games ought to be high.

Here are a few fun and strong options. You’ve got a little bit of everything: Control, Aggro, Quest, Combos, so pick your favorite flavor!

Starship Demon Hunter + Hunter

  • Biopods for the win! They deal a lot of damage, bolster your Starship, and their Deathrattles can get repeated by other cards in your deck. You get draw and discovers, and get to repeat your effects, so it’s a fun deck to play.

Quest Paladin + Shaman

  • Quest Paladin is a deck that pilots itself: play Murlocs, make your existing (and future) Murlocs even stronger. And guess what? The addition of Shaman gives this tried-and-true formula even more Murlocs!

Quest Mage + Discover Hunter

  • Quest Mage is a super fun deck by itself, but not super strong. Mixing it with Discover Hunter, however, makes it even more fun, while giving it tools that let it direct and bolster its Discovers, like Rangari Scout, Birdwatching, and Exarch Naielle.

Wilted Priest + Buff Warrior

  • Deck code:

  • Wilted Priest, also known as Bandage Priest, relies on getting Bandages from Careless Crafter and then using those Bandages to kill with Wilted Shadow. Adding Warrior allows you to buff your Wilted Shadows, making them hit even harder.

Wallow Warlock + Dark Gift DK

  • Deck code:
    AAEBAf0GAuSCB8ODBw7/ugad5Aa1+gb//AaB/QaWggeXggeOgweohwephwfDhweEmQfqmwf2pwcAAA==
  • Wallow Warlock is one of my favorite decks in recent years, so I’m glad to see it return. DK gives it more Dark Gift sources and makes it better at fighting for the board. Make sure to hit specific Dark Gifts (like Windfury, Divine Shield, Lifesteal, a 2/2 copy, and above all, Charge), and then go to town with your Wallow.

Aggro DH + Aggro Paladin

  • You have a lot of cheap minions that can get really aggressive when combining DH tools that summon Charge minions out of nowhere (and guaranteed attacks every turn) with Paladin buffs like Crusader Aura and Busy-Bot. It’s a killer combination.

Do you have an awesome deck of your own? Share it in the comments! If not, just take one of our picks and go have some fun.
