The Epic Games Store free games this week are Totally Reliable Delivery Service and Hidden Folks
This week’s set of free games offered by the Epic Games Store are both lowkey, a little casual, and a little zany, but with very different gameplay systems and vibes. It’s always interesting to see which free games they offer together, and these two are an interesting juxaposition.
- Totally Reliable Delivery Service
- Release Date: April 1, 2020
- Game Type: Delivery, Driving, Party
- POV: 3rd person
- Party: Single player, co-op
- DLC: several cosmetic packs are available for sale.
Totally Reliable Delivery Service is reminscent of some of the old school mission-based driving games, like Simpsons Hit and Run or even the GTA series. It’s both zany and satisfying, and a great game to play either with friends — make sure they take this opportunity to grab it while it’s free. Solo play is also great, but this one really shines as a giggle with the lads.
- Hidden Folks
- Release Date: February 14, 2017
- Game Type: Puzzle, Point and Click
- POV: 3rd person, 2D
- Party: Single player
- DLC: none.
New to Epic this week, Hidden Folks is for the kids who found Waldo in like, one minute, without their older sister telling them where to find him and then bringing it in to school and pretending like you found him just that fast but we all know you’re full of crap, Andrea. Ahem. Your goal in Hidden Folks is to find one of several little drawing components — some people, some doodads — in a hand drawn landscape. When you click on things they make little human-generated sounds. The whole thing is quite a charming little puzzle.
