Strange Horticulure is a favorite of us around the site. It’s a very witchy but cozy puzzler, focused around figuring out the various properties of plants and brewing potions for your neighbors. Some of those neighbors may have ill intent, and some may be unwitting allies, and it’s up to you to navigate the tricky social landscape as well. The narrative is very interesting, and you’ll want to New Game+ this one to see the different endings. Plus, you can pet the cat.

I’ve never played Kamaeru, but it’s already my favorite game. It’s a bit reminiscent of Neko Atsume, but with frogs. Attract frogs to your little garden with different decor and food. Gameplay is slow, but sometimes you want a game for your second monitor, and this little piece of froggy serenity is perfect for that.
