Gravity Circuit is the free game on the Epic Games Store this week

In addition to a few free items and other things for free-to-play game Albion Online, this week the Epic Games Store is giving away a fun side scroller for free.

Gravity Circuit harkens back to the old school platformer, from its bright and pixellated art style to its gameplay. Even the colorways hearken back to titles like Megaman X from the early 90s. Like many of those games, in Gravity Circuit, you can power up and gain new abilities, like a grapple hook, that allow you to traverse different and complicated maps with ease. Plus, you can perform combos to help you defeat enemies.

I’m not the biggest modern platformer fan — they seem nice, but it just isn’t my cup of tea — but this hits so many of the right nostalgia buttons I’m definitely going to pick this one up this week. And it’s free, so I might as well!
