It’s World of Warcraft maintenance happy hour — all servers back online!

I wouldn’t usually refer to World of Warcraft downtime as happy hour, but I am pretty happy it’s just an hour. Over the weekend Blizzard announced a four-hour maintenance for today, but since then the maintenance window has revised down to the standard hour. That includes modern and classic servers. And that seems like a pretty good maintenance day to me.

Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, October 14:

  • The War Within: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
  • Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
  • WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, Anniversary, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am –  8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)

All servers came back online within an hour, and all realms are back online. I’m sticking with my happy hour designation.

Nothing significant has been announced for the week, though we are expecting the patch 11.2.7 PTR to go live at some point, with an early public glimpse at player housing. It was originally scheduled to launch Monday morning, but has been “temporarily delayed,” and we don’t yet know how temporary “temporary” will be. (Unfortunately, this also means you can’t check out the PTR while waiting for the WoW servers to come up.)

I’ll see you in Azeroth soon!
