This week the Epic Games Store is giving away a gem of a puzzle game for free.

Felix the Reaper is a very cute but macabre puzzle game. I hadn’t heard of it until now, and I’m raring to jump in. You play as Felix, a grim reaper whose job is to kill humans in plausible ways, but unseen. You have to make sure Felix stays in the shadows, which shift with the light, while also engineering mortal doom on a grid. Felix is a happy lil guy with a slight beer belly and a red tie, and I love him so much, even if his entire deal is making sure people are dead.

The interplay between the grid and the shadows makes this a really interesting, compelling puzzle game. And even if not, it’s free, so you may as well give it a spin.
