It’s a quick pre-holiday maintenance for World of Warcraft — all WoW servers back online!
We’re being given the gift of a (hopefully) short WoW maintenance for the holidays, so be merry! While all WoW servers have their usual Tuesday downtime, servers should be back online within the hour. So don’t let downtime get you down, because if things go as scheduled we’ll be back online soon.
Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, December 23:
- The War Within: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
- Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
- WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, Anniversary, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
All WoW servers are back online!
As the year winds down, there’s not much happening, and hopefully that means there’s not much that requires maintenance. We don’t expect any new patches or events to pop up soon: the only thing going on is Winter Veil (ending January 2 on both modern and Classic servers) and Legion Remix (ending January 19). There’s nothing new happening for either of them, so gamers can just keep on keeping on — as much as holiday schedules allow.
Here’s to hoping we have a few weeks of short maintenance cycles before the game kicks into gear for the launch of The Burning Crusade pre-patch on Classic Anniversary realms (January 13) and the Midnight pre-patch (January 20). All servers are now back online, so I’ll see you in Azeroth soon!
