The Styx series is a classic in the assassin space. It bears a lot of similarity to games like Hitman, but in the fantasy genre. You play as Styx, an intelligent goblin, who can do both typical assassin things like lay traps for his quarry which might make their demise seem accidental. However, because this is a fantasy world, Styx has a few literal magic tricks up his sleeve, able to do things like clone himself, and then send the clone off to be a convenient distraction.
If you’re not into the stealthy assasssin gameplay, regardless of the fantasy trappings of it all, you might not like this title. But then, as I say every week, free is free.
