Honestly, as soon as you read the title you knew whether or not you’d want to play this game. You play as a Turnip Boy, and he robs a bank. All your friends are vegetables. Turnip Boy has a gun, a haunted brick, and C4, so it should go fine.

This game has some decent gameplay, while you explore the bank and get into an old timey Bonnie and Clyde-style shootout with the cops from time to time. But the real draw is obviously just how off the wall the entire premise is. It’s basically Hades if Zagreus was a felonious rutabaga. It does play a little more action-y than the original title, but the difficulty isn’t overly punishing for the OG fans of Turnip Boy. May he have many sequels to come.
