Noblegarden is live, and now duck disguise colors are shared by your warband (but you have to collect them all again)

Spring is in the air on Azeroth, and that means it’s time to break out the egg-collecting baskets and celebrate Noblegarden. The week-long event will run from Monday April 6 through Monday April 13 this year, and a small update to this annual celebration means that you almost certainly have some more rewards to earn, plus pets, mounts, toys, transmogs from previous years. You’ll also be one year closer to collecting all of the duck disguises — and 2026 brings a new update making this far easier, with duck disguise colors shared warband-wide.

At the tail end of Dragonflight our annual egg-collecting tasks were disrupted by an invasion of mischievous ducks. You can pick up the quest What the Duck in Razor Hill (for the Horde) or Goldshire (for the Alliance) once the event starts, which will eventually lead you to the cause of all this feathery mayhem: Daetan Swiftplume. A Night Elf Druid with an unexplained grudge against Noblegarden, Swiftplume can be defeated once per day for a chance at the pastel-shaded Noble Flying Carpet. Daetan also drops the new Spring Reveler’s Cornsilk set. For details on how to find Daetan and the best strategy for maximizing your chances at seeing the mount, check out our guide.

After vanquishing the mallard-shaped Druid and his quacking compatriots each day, you’ll have your work cut out for you collecting Brightly Colored Eggs in order to earn enough Noblegarden Chocolate to purchase your favorite spring-themed rewards. There’s the usual cornucopia of collectibles — my aim this year is to earn at least enough sweets to purchase the older pink duckling pet and some transmog bunny ears. There is a new option to hunt Brightly Colored Eggs in Silvermoon City, though as always, good luck actually nabbing any. Truly, the most demanding PVP in WoW is the Kharanos egg hunt.

The biggest change this year comes with the Duck Disguiser. This toy is a reward from the quest line that leads to Daetan Swiftplume, and spawns a golden egg that allows you to turn yourself into a duck for three minutes. There are six color schemes available, and you earn one when completing the very same quest that rewards the toy. Players were surprised to find that these disguises were character-specific — completing the quest and selecting a different color disguise on an alt only unlocked the disguise on that alt. Blizzard confirmed that in order to unlock all six variants on a single character, you’ll have to complete the quest chain during six different Noblegardens, but they have changed this as of 2026 — sort of. If you collect other colors on alts, they’ll be shared across your Warband. The Blizzard team also notes that Daetan will also drop other colors “freely,” though I only received one in my basket.

However, it has been noted that the disguiser colors you’ve collected previously will be reset. The first time you use it now, it offers a new “wizard duck” costume, and that’s it until you obtain the disguiser colors again. Here’s hoping you get to re-collect your favorites before this week-long event ends.
