If you love Super Smash Bros but wish it was wackier, Prop Sumo will likely pique your interest. It’s a party brawler similar to Smash Bros, but instead of playing characters that are expensive to license you play as, like, a thingy: a magnet, can of soda, rocking horse, ice cube, or a barrel. There are over 40 different props you can play as, and there are also costuming items like hats and glasses you can add to your thing. Then, get buck wild and beat up your besties! If you don’t have any friends, you can also browse for online matches.

If you do have friends but they don’t have Prop Sumo, there’s also a Friend Pass demi-DLC you can get to let them take the game for a spin. They don’t get as many choices or customizations as your buddies who own the full game, but as we always say with the Epic Games Store freebie of the week, the first hit is free, and the price is right.
